Haute Living gives consumers, architects and interior designers access to thousands of modern furniture, lighting, rug and decorative-object products, supported by professional procurement services and showrooms in Chicago and New York. We helped create a scalable discovery, specification and procurement experience for both retail and trade customers.

Business challenge

Haute Living needed to unify a large and complex catalogue of design products, professional specification resources, live commercial data and showroom services in one fast digital experience for both retail and trade audiences.

Our solution

Built Elasticsearch-powered faceted search with predictive queries, synonyms, filters, sorting and rapid catalogue retrieval.
Created configurable product pages with finishes, upholstery, dimensions, specifications, lead times, related products and downloadable resources.
Implemented professional account approval, trade pricing, project boards and quotation and procurement workflows.
Developed a digital asset library for tear sheets, CAD drawings, Revit files, 2D plans and 3D models using Autodesk Platform Services.
Integrated Contentful, PostgreSQL, HubSpot, AWS S3 and CloudFront for content, catalogue synchronization, enquiries and media delivery.

Main Functionality

Configurable product discovery

We developed faceted catalogue discovery with Elasticsearch, predictive search, synonyms, filters, sorting and rapid retrieval, alongside product pages for finishes, upholstery, dimensions, specifications, lead times, related products and downloadable resources.

Trade accounts & professional resources

We implemented professional registration and approval workflows with trade pricing, exclusive product information and access to tear sheets, CAD drawings, Revit files, 2D plans and 3D models through Autodesk Platform Services.

Showroom enquiries & procurement

We built quotation and procurement workflows for selections, pricing, availability and order coordination, and connected showroom appointments, trade enquiries and project requests to HubSpot with full product context.

Brands, content & catalogue management

We integrated Contentful to manage brands, designers, collections, editorial materials and showroom content, while synchronizing products, variants, pricing, availability and sample-sale data with PostgreSQL and internal catalogue systems.

Project boards, media & performance

We created saved project boards for room- and client-based specifications, delivered high-resolution images and technical documents through AWS S3 and CloudFront, and optimized dynamic pages, structured data, media delivery and automated end-to-end testing.
