About project

Raqi is a WhatsApp-native business operations platform that connects ERP, CRM, accounting, e-commerce, dispatch, payment, and support systems. We built a secure multi-tenant solution for automating customer updates, proof of delivery, appointments, collections, document delivery, exception handling, and operational analytics.

Duration

7 months

Technologies

A secure event-driven technology stack for WhatsApp automation, enterprise integrations, operational analytics, and cloud-scale processing.

Business solutions

The client needed to connect fragmented ERP, CRM, accounting, e-commerce, dispatch, payment, and support systems to WhatsApp without sacrificing workflow reliability, message governance, tenant isolation, or operational visibility. Long-running processes had to survive restarts and integration failures while high-volume webhook events, documents, customer consent, and exceptions were processed securely.

Implemented solutions

  • Reliable long-running workflows built with Temporal.io for reminders, collections, delivery confirmations, and follow-ups.
  • Reusable connectors for SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Zoho, Salla, Zid, Google Sheets, REST APIs, and webhooks.
  • Meta Embedded Signup and governed Arabic/English WhatsApp templates.
  • Idempotent webhook processing for delivery, read, reply, failure, and button-click events.
  • Databricks ETL/ELT pipelines and BI-ready operational datasets.
  • Exception inbox, OpenSearch investigation tools, branded documents, consent workflows, and AWS-scale processing.

Main Functionality

Project Description Image

Reliable Workflow Automation

We modelled long-running appointment reminders, overdue-payment sequences, delivery confirmations, and operational follow-ups with Temporal.io. The workflows resume safely after service restarts or integration failures, preserving state, retries, timing, and auditability.

Enterprise Integration Layer

We developed reusable connector packages for SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Zoho, Salla, Zid, Google Sheets, and custom REST or webhook-based systems. Each connector normalizes authentication, data mapping, retries, error handling, and tenant-specific configuration so new business systems can be connected quickly and safely.

WhatsApp Onboarding and Template Governance

We implemented Meta Embedded Signup for guided connection of WhatsApp Business Accounts, sender numbers, permissions, templates, and webhook subscriptions. The multilingual governance workspace validates variables, approval status, quality ratings, categories, and version history for Arabic and English content.

Operational Use Cases and Customer Workflows

We developed reusable workflows for proof of delivery, appointment reminders, collections, order updates, customer support, and document delivery. The platform coordinates business rules across finance, sales, operations, and support while preserving consent, message status, and tenant-specific configuration.

Event Processing, Analytics, and Operational Control

We built an event-driven processing layer with DynamoDB idempotency, AWS Lambda, SQS, Redis, and scheduled workers for webhook events, throttling, delayed actions, document preparation, and analytics. Databricks pipelines transform raw messaging and integration events into BI-ready datasets for delivery success, response time, collections, exceptions, and workflow completion.
