Veterinaro is a veterinary practice management platform developed specifically for veterinary clinics and professionals in Poland.

The platform combines modern technologies with industry-specific workflows, helping clinics manage appointments, treatment sessions, events, payments, and daily operations more efficiently.

The project focused on improving usability, expanding scheduling capabilities, integrating payment services, and building a scalable architecture capable of supporting growing veterinary practices.

  • expanded event management functionality, allowing users to create, combine, and organize treatment sessions more efficiently.
  • integrated the Chargebee payment platform to connect subscriptions and payment management between the website and the application.
  • developed and maintained APIs to support communication between internal modules and external services.
  • designed and implemented the database architecture using MongoDB and Mongoose.
  • integrated external services and APIs to extend the platform’s functionality.
  • implemented Socket.io to support real-time communication and live data updates.
  • optimized both frontend and backend components to improve overall platform performance and scalability.

Planning and Design

    • we gathered business requirements, finalized the technology stack, designed the system architecture, and redesigned the session creation interface to improve user experience.

Development

  • we developed the frontend using React.js and Next.js, built reusable UI components with TailwindCSS, implemented backend services with Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js, and expanded session and event management functionality.

Integration and Testing

we integrated the Chargebee payment system, connected external services and APIs, implemented Socket.io for real-time functionality, and completed unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
